Alexander Abreu '19 Recruiting Profile

My future goal is to play soccer for a college and become a professional soccer player.  I'm also interested in perusing electrical engineering. I believe that I am a good candidate for the soccer team because I have great leadership skills. I play both travel and high school soccer for Piscataway.  As a defender and captain I'm able encourage my team mates to do their best and stay focused in practice and games. I have to recognize when a team mate is falling behind and help them out.  It takes a team to make every win and not depending on one player.  My positive attitude and caring for others have made a difference in encouraging my teammates to play a great game.  I strive to work to my full potential both in school and on the field. I work hard in school to make honor-roll and to find balance between school and sports.  For the last 2 years I have been reffing for my township.  It helps me to be more confident in myself and have more respect for the game.
