Austin Wind '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches!

I am Austin Wind. I'm from Hamilton, New Jersey. I'm a 2024 graduate of Hamilton High School West. I am a student-athlete. As a hardworking, dedicated, passionate, and competitive athlete, I am always open to criticism, to improve, to learn, to be coached, and to become the best version of myself. I find myself playing at all levels, from Recreation soccer to Club Soccer to High School Soccer and even pick-up games, where I'm exposed to all different styles and levels of playing. I attend many goalie clinics and have practiced with various private trainers. I like throwing myself into different situations, whether pick-up games or attending an international camp. 

On the field, I carry a set of skills that consists of leadership, game awareness, communication, quick thinking, and agility. Being appointed as one of the Captains for my Travel Club I think I highlight these qualities. I am a team player. I will always be supportive and loyal to my teammates and coaches on and off the field. At the end of the day, I am willing to give it my all for the program to ensure it can be the best it can be.

I am focused, willing to learn, respectful, and hardworking in the classroom. I am proud of my current academic accomplishments, from being a part of the Italian Honors Society and the National Society of High School Scholars to being a three-year Academic Award recipient to being on the Honor Roll. I have taken part in numerous Honor Classes and a few AP Classes. I like to be active and participate in extracurricular activities like Peer Leadership, Esports, and events at my school, like the community haunted houses.
