Panagiotis Mavrommatis '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Panagiotis Mavrommatis and I was born and raised in Cyprus. Currently I am a member of the Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team at Hoosac School in Hoosick New York, where I was admitted as an international boarding student and I will graduate in 2021. 

I am 19 years old and ever since I can remember, I had a soccer ball in my feet dreaming I was a professional player playing the beautiful game.There was something about soccer that cleared my mind and every-time I would step on a soccer pitch I simply felt at home. 

I started playing for Apoel Nicosia youth team, one of the most successful clubs in Cyprus,where I was captain for the last 2 years before getting a transfer to Olympiacos Nicosia, one of the most historical and respected   clubs when I was 17. At the same time, I was enrolled in the sports school of G.C School of Careers, one of the top private schools in the country where I effectively managed daily training sessions as well as my classes in which I successfully completed A-Level Mathematics and Economics courses.
