Paul Asari '24 Recruiting Profile

I am Paul Asari. I have high expectations and goals for myself in everything I do. Hard work has been instilled in me from a young age and I hope to be able to bring that with me to a college soccer team. Currently, I play for Manhattan SC 05/06 ECNL. My understanding of soccer and my leadership make me stand out among other recruits. I also believe my passing ability and physicality make me special on the pitch. I have played Regis High School Soccer for all 4 years, 3 of which I have been on Varsity and 2 of which I have been Captain. Regis High School is the #1 Catholic High School in the U.S.A and is known for its rigorous courses of study. I was selected as 1 of the 120 out of 1000 8th graders who attempted to enter Regis. I am a part of Regis's Speech and Debate (which is currently ranked #1 in the U.S.A), I am part of the Regis service club, and I host a podcast for the school's sports newspaper with my friend, about the English Premier League. Outside of Regis, I play piano, sing, lector at Mass, and I am a part of Jesus Youth of America. In my family, I am the oldest of 4 so I have always had a substantial amount of responsibility. Being the oldest of 4, I have made it an instinct to be a leader and to protect my siblings. I will do anything for them and for anyone who cares about me. I wish to make an impact on every person I interact with whether on the pitch, off the pitch, or anywhere else. I also desire to continue developing as a person and player.
