Kipling Thomas '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a midfielder by trade, so I look to create chances for my teammates and have experienced higher up the field. I play the eight, the ten, and the six, but also have experience playing the 7, 11, and 9. I am a very creative and possession-minded midfielder with a killer pass in behind. I was born in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico so most of my childhood was spent learning how to play Ginga and learning to be expressive on the ball.  I also love playing tiki-taka and believe I have the ability to play all over the field so wherever the team needs me, I believe I can help. Although many might doubt my ability due to my size, I am feisty and will go into any tackle.  I believe I have the technical ability to perform regardless of my size. I have aspirations to play at the highest level in Europe but am also looking at a collegiate career. I have been given many incredible opportunities to play at the highest level. I have trained and been asked back at Wake Forest MLS next, but I could not because of family reasons. I have been given the opportunity to play with my club's u19 team as a u16. I have played at the Piedmont level of North Carolina soccer. I have also been invited to multiple Exact Camps with top D1 programs, and have gotten excepted into a Spanish program with professional tram Levante UD.  I am also a student of the game and love watching and studying games.
