Personal Statement
Playing sports has shown me that one’s true character is revealed when adversity strikes. A person is defined when a challenge awaits them. This is a lesson that I will carry with me throughout the rest of my life. The many challenges thrown at me every day through school and sports help me to grow as a student, athlete, and person. I am the starting center midfielder for the Waynesboro Area High School soccer team. I also play for my club team and the Harrisburg City Islanders Academy. What I have to offer to a team is a team player who is willing to put in any amount of work to benefit my team and become the very best that I can be. I am a driven, hard working person. I give 110 percent in practice and on the field to improve myself and my team. My ultimate goal is to become the best person and player I can be. I would like to find a school that is a good fit for me academically while being able to play at the highest level of competition possible. I want to be part of a program where I can contribute to its success both on and off the field while allowing me to grow as a player and person. NCAA ID: 1209011453
