My name is Nicholas Primis and I will be a 2027 graduate of Shaler Area High School in Pittsburgh, PA. I currently play for Steel City FC 2009 Premier 1 team. In the fall, I was a starter for the Shaler Area Boys' Junior Varsity Soccer team. Last season, I played for SCS United 2009B White team, which advanced to the Midwest Regionals in Libertyville, IL. Prior to SCS, I played for Hotspurs FC (now Steel City FC) for 4 years. I played up on the 2008 team. In 2018 and 2019, I played on a second team with the 2009 Hotspurs blue team when their schedule did not conflict with my regular 2008 team.
I started playing soccer when I was 4 with the Shaler Soccer Club. My dad was a coach for my sister's team, so I went to all of her games and tournaments. So you could say that I was raised on the pitch.
I absolutely love playing soccer and having fun with my teammates. During the High School season, I was certified as a Referee and began to referee games for younger players in the area. Last year, I played for the Shaler Area Middle School Boys team in the fall and I was a Captain during the 2022 season.
For 3 years, I played Futsal with the Assassins Futsal Club. (Winter 2019-March 2022).
I would love to play at a University that has a great soccer program and great academics. I normally get A's and B's in school. I would like to study architecture or history.
