My name is Nicolas Herrera, I have always enjoyed playing sports and I started playing tennis when I was 5. Although I always enjoyed playing, I knew my passion was playing soccer. So at 7 I switched from tennis to soccer and as soon as I stepped on the field for the first time I realized soccer was the sport I would dedicate all my efforts on.
I have strong handling skills, I am explosive and fast on the filed, I have a good field vision and a high understanding of the game. I have always been a team leader and enjoy team environment and motivating others on my team.
I strive to become the best player wherever I compete. I take the sport and competition very serious and for this I prepare myself year round to maximize my skills and contribute to my athleticism. I have always played as a forward/striker and have participated in different League and school teams. Currently I play for my hometown Professional team with their youth select team.
At school I am a good student and and have always maintained a high GPA. I also volunteer at local youth soccer camps.
My goal and my vision is to attend a good college where I can excel both in the classroom and in the soccer field. I am hoping to find the right college match at the best level of competition possible. At the same time I hope to keep motivating my teammates and also be a role model to my community and friends.
