Jackson Korona '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jackson Korona, I attend Sandra Day O'Connor High School where I play on the varsity soccer team, and for my club team I play at SA City for the 04-05 Boys ECRL-ECNL team. I play center back and occasionally can step into the midfield spot when needed. I have been playing soccer since the age of 3 and I have grown my love for the game every so more since then. I want to continue this love on after high school into college and hopefully one day, the pros.

I believe I would be a great candidate at any school that accepts me. I have always been a high motor person on and off the field. I support those around me whether that be my teammates, friends, or family. I am a big believer in loyalty and trust and I truly blend those into my everyday life as best I can possible. I am a very open person that will express what is on my mind, good or bad, because to gain trust you must first give it. I take pride in my actions and words, and to do that I always put my best foot forward. 

Off the field, I have a cumulative GPA of 93.4 in the classroom. Currently I am ranked just inside the top 25% at my school for GPA, and my goal by the end of  my high school career is to get between 15-20%. This year as a junior I am taking 3 AP Classes and was invited to join NHS. When I get to college, I wish to study in the business or scientific field as my major as I am currently taking courses that will set me up to be successful in those subjects, as well as my passion to learn more about them.   

What makes me different from other players is that I will never back down from a situation, big or small. Whether that's studying for a test or watching game film, I take on everything I do with the same mindset that I will be successful in the aftermath and will give my all while doing it. By bringing me into your program, I will give my everything to leave an impact on and off the field by the end of my 4 years attending your college.
