Troy Gravatt '14 Recruiting Profile

I have a strong desire to compete and I love soccer! I'm looking forward to the next phase of life and going to college, but I want to continue to play the game of soccer that I have grown to love since the age of 9, that is one of my life's goals, to play college soccer!  I feel I have alot to offer both on and off the field; my work ethic, speed, ball control and attitude are attributes that make me a great fit for any team!  I come from a strong, solid family who supports me in everything I do.  First, I rely on my Faith and Family to get me to where i am today and will continue to rely on that and my determined work ethic to get me very far in achieving my dreams.  I have a lot of experience through all the years I have played travel soccer and I worked very hard to be selected and play on the Tennessee State ODP team from the ages of 13-15, I was 1 of 34 players selected from across the State.  I have been fortunate to play on very successful competetive teams; My Club Team, Murfreesboro Strikers were Div II State Champions in 2011 and I had the Game Winning Goal in a PK shootout.  My High School Soccer Team - Riverdale Warriors ended the 2012 season as District, Regional and Sub-State Champions and we made it to the final 4 in the State, where we ended 3rd.   I have attended dozens of soccer camps over the years, and one of my most memorable was in Alabama (UAB) when I was named the Gatorade "Player of the Camp".  I look forward to committing to a college that will help me live my dream and continue playing soccer; my positive attitude and versatility on the field make me a great player on any team.
