David Parsons '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is David Parsons from Chesapeake, Virginia.  I am currently a rising Senior at Grassfield High School, with a current 4.21 GPA, and will be graduating with the class of 2020.  My College aspirations are to study Business (Accounting) or possibly Engineering.  I currently play Defense and have joined a new club for 2019, as a starter for FC Arsenal at position of Center Back. I have four solid years of High School play for my High School Team, and currently play Varsity as a starting Center Back.  My Height is 5’10” and my current weight is 180 (I am still growing!).  I have played soccer since U8, and found my way as a starter on competitive travel teams at U11.  I have played in TASL, VSLI (Div 1), and VPL/NPSL.  I have been a key player for my teams, as we have won several Tournaments, and are competitive in all we enter.  On the 2018 Grassfield Varsity (6A) team, I was a starter in 16 season games, where we went undefeated, only to miss a final berth in Semi Final match in overtime.  I am highly regarded by my Coaches as a Starter that needs to be on the field to help the team.  I train 12 months per year with four different coaches, and have become a versatile, quick, and strong player.  My recent Tournaments were Williamsburg Invitational where I guest played for my new FC Arsenal Team, where we won the Tournament (June 2019), August Cup in Germantown, MD (runners-up, 8/25/17); the CASL Qualifier Tournament in Raleigh, NC (9/2/17); and the Capital Fall Classic in Richmond, VA (11/12/17); CASL Showcase, (Champions 11/19/2018).  We finished Runners-up in the Virginia Beach Spring Classic in the Top U19 Grouping (3/18/2018).  Upcoming Tournaments are the August Cup in MD (8/24-26, 2018) Finished Runners-Up!; the VisitRaleigh.com Qualifier (9/1 & 9/2/2018); and the Capital Fall Classic in Richmond (11/10-11, 2018).  I am easy to find, FC Arsenal 2001, Defense, Club Jersey#24, Grassfield HS Varsity Jersey#23; try to get by me!    I will be Guest Playing at the VisitRaleigh.com College Showcase for CSC Platinum BARCA in the U19 Premier White Bracket on Dec 13-15 Wearing Jersey#3.
