Alec Jackson '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend a university that offers a curriculum in my chosen area of study that offers the highest level of competition I can play. I fell in love with soccer when asked to try out for a U10 club team and want to continue to take my game as far as my training and abilities will take me.  I was pulled up to my high school varsity team in the 9^th grade.  I was team captain for my Division I club team for two years playing multiple positions.  I am a player with a lot of heart and determination and have learned how to overcome obstacles and adversity during my journey to make an elite CCL/NPL team.  I tried out for an Elite NPL team last year and made the team.  I currently start for Rush Elite and travel an hour each way to practice four times per week.  I have demonstrated a very strong work ethic, as I have attended elite training with my club which at times, begins at 5:15 a.m. and work out with weights on my own between practices while maintaining a 3.50 GPA.  I am a team player averaging at least 1 assist per game and excel using my speed and tackling abilities.  I have played multiple positions, Left/right back, Left/right wing, Center Back, and Center defending Mid.  I am coach-able and the hardest worker on any team I’ve been on.  I continue to grow and improve with each training session in preparation for my next opportunity.
