Carter Anderson '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Carter Anderson.  Ever since I can remember, I have been swimming.  I started on a club team when I was seven and have never looked back.  I love the adrenaline of standing behind the blocks, the thrill of winning (or getting a personal record in) a big race, and the comraderie of being part of a successful team.

I swim for Regis Jesuit High School (varsity since freshman year) and Aquawolves Swim Club Colorado.    Regis won the Colorado 5A state championships in May, which has been the highlight of my time in high school.  As part of Regis’s free relay (with a 20.69 split) and medley relay (fly with a 22.35 split), I received NISCA All-American honors in 2022 and 2021.  I also received second team All-State honors and first team All-County honors in those events.  My time of 50.60 in the 100 fly landed me on the second team All-County list as well.

 In the classroom, I have achieved a weighted GPA of 4.25.  I do not shy away from challenging classes, embracing a schedule loaded with AP and honors classes.  I hope to attend a college where I will be challenged both academically and athletically.   I am open to all options and want to ultimately find a college that best fits my desire for academic rigor and competitive sports.
