I have been competitively swimming since I was 5 years old, and it was my first love. Swimming has taught me so much about determination, goal setting, responsibility, and it has given me a will to improve. Ever since I knew what college swimming was, I knew I wanted to swim in college. This led me to get good grades, and responsibly manage my time, in order to have a significant amount of practice time in the pool. I hope to one day pursue a career in politics, or business.
