Catherine Condon '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Cate Condon and I am a 2026 striker from Colorado. I attend Denver East High School, a 5A school. I am right-foot dominant but also have great dexterity with my left. I play for Colorado Edge on the 2007 Select ECNL-RL team where we recently wrapped up our first season in the regional league, It was a great experience which challenged me, and my team went undefeated and will be ranked highly at the ECNL-RL tournament in St. Louis. I play for my high school team at Denver East as a starter on Varsity. In my freshman season, my team won the 5A Denver League and I was able to end the season leading in goals and assists. I was chosen for Second Team All City. I am very driven in everything I do from the pitch to the classroom and more. I currently have a 5.2 GPA and I am in 6 honors classes and 1 AP class.  

In 2020 I was on the top team in my old club, however it was only a P3 team. My previous coach encouraged me in the middle of COVID to change clubs so I could continue developing. I wanted to change clubs so that I could challenge myself, grow personally and become a better player for my team. While it was a lateral move at first, I trained day in and day out and kept focused on my opportunities and goals. One year later I was moved up to the top team and played P1. That summer, we were able to win the US Club Soccer Regionals and then were Finalists in the National Cup as the only non-ECNL team. From that experience, I was asked by the Colorado Select ODP coach to join the team. While representing the State of Colorado, we competed in the Far West ODP Championships in January 2022 and finished as Semifinalists.  My success continued and I was scouted and invited to attend the West Regional ODP ID Event in July 2022 in Utah. I competed again with the Colorado Select ODP team in January of 2023 and was invited to the regional camp in Utah again as well. 

I am a tenacious player and student. I lead on the field and in the classroom by helping to create a positive environment and always having fun. I am respectful of my coach, teammates, and friends. I have always loved the game of soccer and it has helped develop me into the person I am today.
