Eric Rizo '24 Recruiting Profile

     I really love helping and supporting others to continue improving and challenging themselves more every day. Every time our high school team goes on meets, I always go yell out their name and support them to go faster whenever a teammate is racing. Since I have been with my team at Morton West for years, I have really connected with them and now see them as family that I love spending time with, even after practice. There have been many moments where teammates are upset since they didn’t do good in a race, but I try being there for them and just give them consolation. This year, my senior year, I really challenged myself in academics with many afterschool programs/clubs and many challenging classes. But that still doesn’t stop me for continuing to be there for my team and continue to challenge myself in the sport that I’ve been doing for many years. I want to continue strengthening my weaknesses and refining my strengths, making many new friends along the way.
