Personal Statement

I have been in the water since I can remember; I have always loved the feeling of it. Though I have only been swimming club for a year and a half, it has consumed my life and I love it. I am ready to continue my sport in the collegiate arena. 

I am excited to go to college as much as I am to swim for a college team. I love to learn new things and that's what makes going to college enticing. I want to work with animals and the environment as it has been my passion since I was little. But, learning to work with others and being part of the "world-outside-of-highschool" is another incredible thing I am looking forward to. 

I know a college swim team is a swimmer's family for the four years most are in college. I think the biggest part of being on a team is the family mentality. That is what I am looking for and would be excited to be apart of and make a contribution to a team like that.
