Personal Statement
I started swimming when I was a sophomore in high school(December 2013). I had never swam before and it was something I really enjoyed, so for the past year and a half it is all I have focused on. I have joined a club team and no longer compete in any other sports just so I can focus on swimming. I try to perform my best both in the pool and in the classroom. Even though I am not a '4.0' student I still try my best to maintain the grades I do have. I am currently enrolled in a PSEO program which allows to me take college level classes along with regular high school classes. This opportunity has made me more mature with my studies and has helped me find the balance with athletics and academics.
