David Zaske '11 Recruiting Profile

This past weekend at the Section 8AA swim meet I received a great honor, I was tied with another swimming for swimmer of the meet and looking forward to our State meet. This month I was very proud and honored to represent my school in our Districts and subsection AAA award (Arts, Academics, Athletics) this was a recognition that I will always remember and the feeling I had representing both my school and my swim team as I competed in the award. My plan for my future career deals within the fields of Math and Science. I plan on studying in these fields to hopefully become a Mechanical Engineer. I have been taking post secondary classes during high school and have focused on Math and meeting engineering curriculum core classes. In addition, looking at a business degree or minor. It would be a great asset along with an Engineering Degree as it allows you to understand business management and finance. The main reason I want to go into the Engineer field is to try to make a difference. I also planning to be a part of the Swim Team as I have been evaluating schools on their engineering programs and ones that have a swim team. I am not sure as to my involvement in band activities as my scheduling will be pretty full between a demanding major and swimming.
