Throughout my life it has been a large goal of mine to be able to compete athletically at a university with a great academic program for engineering. Since I was little my passion has always been for swimming, it has always been what my life revolves around and continues to be my motivation to get better. That is why I think I am a great candidate for swimming in college. I believe I am hardworking, dedicated and committed to the betterment of myself and my community. I have a very strong work ethic driven by my high competitive nature, and I feel as though these qualities would be greatly enhanced as a collegiate swimmer. As a student-athlete I will make a large commitment to my studies in the classroom as well, ensuring that my learning is a top priority. I’m not sure if I’m the right choice for you or your university, however, I think I can have a positive impact as a collegiate student-athlete both in the classroom and pool.
