Maxwell Thompson '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a self-motivated athlete and student. 

In the pool, I am focused and goal-oriented, often the first to jump into the water to start practice. With this attitude and hard work, I've earned the Coaches Award from my club team three years in a row. I also volunteer as a mentor to younger swimmers, and I've been the MVP for my high school team two years running.

In school, I have pursued independent study to concentrate on my own interests. I have consistently sought out the most challenging learnng opportunites that I can find in math and science, and have enjoyed the IB curriculum. Teachers remark that they enjoy having me in class, likely because I engage in class discussion. 

I am looking for a 4-year engineering program, with academic rigor and the opportunity for project-based learning.
