Ligon Chewning '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Ligon Chewning.

I have been a leader on and off of the swim team, serving as Captain of the swim team both freshman year as well as junior year. I am also the editor and chief of the yearbook this year. Since I was little, I have always been a leader and I would make a great addition to a team, with the goal of winning, and growing together as people. Academically, I have been an Honor roll student, involved in student life, with clubs and events. 

    Swimming has always given me a sense of challenge, because at no point will I be able to say that I am unable to improve. The goal is always to improve, and I have a great time pushing myself in practices to ultimately be the best swimmer I can be. My goals include competing with those who challenge me to be faster. I aspire to swim on a team of competitive nature, that puts hard work and effort into becoming the best we can be.
