Walker Clark '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Walker Clark and I have been swimming competitively since I was 4 years old, with Socal Swimming. I was 8, when we moved to the San Diego Imperial LSC and I was competing with Fallbrook Swim Team (FAST) and Pacific Swim (PS) in Poway, CA. At age 14 we moved across country to Virginia, where I have been competing under Nations Capital Swim Team (NCAP Burke).

I have set goals of Nationals and I am training 7 times a week and have recently added 3 body/weights workouts to my program. I am very dedicated to the sport. I am looking forward to competing at the collegiate level and hope to compete in one of my 5 events. I swim the 200 Free, 100 & 200 Fly, 100 & 200 Back, as I continue to strive for my national level goals.

I am also, striving to be a top tier student, at this present school year I am taking IB courses. I also, volunteer for our adaptive aquatics program for Fairfax County. I plan to continue working hard and setting my short term goals to achieve my longer term dreams both academically and athletically.
