Personal Statement
I started swimming when I was 5 because my older sister started to swim. Ever since I started I’ve enjoyed swimming and love to be in the pool. I’m dedicated to swimming by working hard every day two times a day. Swimming has been a big part of my life it’s taught me many things, like staying dedicated to a goal and achieving the goal than setting a newer and higher goal to achieve next. Over my swim career so far I’ve completed in northwest age group sectionals and competed in Northwest zones. Since swimming has taught me dedication I’ve been also very academically focused, I average around a 3.8-3.9 GPA each semester. I also participate in many different classes, from College US history to Chinese, I'd love a range of classes to take while in college. For colleges, I’d like both academic focused college and a very competitive athletic college to keep me motivated. Computers are one of my favorite things, so a good computer science program would be ideal for me for college. I’m currently a Senior and team captain for my high school team the Thunder Basin Bolts.
