Derek Myers '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Derek Myers and I currently attend Campbell County High School as a member of the 2014 graduating class. I participate in basketball, cross country, and track. Having a birthday in late April and being one of the older kids on my team has granted me the opportunity to become a exceptional leader. I lead with a positive voice, but more importantly I lead by example. Few, but not all, of the intangilbes I bring to the table are: hard work, dedication, and coachability. I wish to attend a smaller or mid-sized university where I can connect with the professors on a more personal level. I also plan on attending a school where I can follow in the footsteps of my parents and major in Secondary Education.

I have an unmatched passion for running and I am ready to take my abilities to the next level. With hard work and perseverance I hope to make an immediate impact on my future team.
