I would like to attend a college or university that gives me the best opportunity to focus on my academics as well as my tennis career. I have been playing tennis since I was six years old, starting in first grade, and ever since I have always had a passion for the sport. Growing up I was a very shy person, but tennis became the place where that didn’t matter. The sport has allowed me to grow as an individual, by making me gain more confidence and learn that not everything in life is perfect. I want to be apart of something more than just myself. I want to be apart of a team that supports each other and pushes one another to be their very best, on and off the court. After watching countless hours of the sport my dream of becoming a professional tennis player on the ATP World Tour has grown. I know this dream is difficult to achieve, but by putting in the work, I believe it is obtainable.
