It has been a dream to me as a little kid to make it to college, but not only as a student, but as a student-athlete. Cross country has shown me how to be a true leader of a team and to be an example around my friends and community looking up to me. The support I have received throughout my high school years so far has been amazing and now I think it is time for me to make my own decisions and take initiative for mu future.
I know that there are many others better than me, but I have to determination to try and prove to myself and others that I have the strength to overcome the impossible. My determination and the love of the sport will help guide me to be more successful in life and in the sport that helps me focus and keeps me competitive.
I try my best anything, especially in academics, not only do I want to succeed in my sport, but also in life to have a bright future. Once I set my goal, I will do everything to make achieve that goal.
I was raised in a small community in Alaska, but we all learned that respect is everything and you help everyone that needs help. I will respect my teammates and if so, I would love to help myself and also help my teammates out to push each other and achieve their goals to be more successful.
