Thank you for visiting my profile as a future college student athlete.
Let me begin by introducing myself, my name is Eysias Banks. I am a varsity football and track student athlete from Surprise, AZ. I have played multiple sports including basketball, baseball, soccer, track and football since age five. When I began high school my heart stayed with football and track.
I would like your consideration to be one of your student athletes.
I have a hard work ethic and strive to be a successful athlete. Of the obstacles that I have encountered, I have done my best to overcome them in order to achieve my objective and I maintain this standard as a life principle.
A course of study that I am interested in pursuing in college is architecture. Presently, I attend Shadow Ridge High School which is a school that has one of the top architecture programs in the nation. Next year will be my fourth year in this program. In past three years, as a high school program we have won several state and national championships. I have completed each year with an “A” grade.
I am highly involved in my community. I have completed several community service hours with my local law enforcement. My high school has a police officer assigned from the Surprise Police Department. Officer Wendy Klarkowski is our Student Resource Officer (SRO). I have a very close bond with our SRO and I am involved in her “Coin Challenge”. Only selective students are take part in this program. The SRO Coin Challenge students complete community service work, such as collecting and delivering stuffed animals to children in local hospitals. We participate in mock crashes (auto collisions) to raise awareness for students to not to drink and drive on their high school prom night. As a member, I am held to a higher standard than other students. I, myself, strive to make better choices and I encourage my peers to be outstanding students as well.
