I'm Finley and am a member of the class of 2026. I run varsity track in Arizona and have a little over a year of experience running track, with dead-set hopes of one day competing at the collegiate level. I aspire to be a mechanical engineer, and plan to major in said degree, with a minor in mathematics.
I am an incredibly dedicated worker, which is not only shown through my various athletic pursuits but also via my academics, as I maintain a 4.0+ GPA throughout all of my academic semesters. When it's time for practice, I like to train and train only. I enjoy running track for the raw experience of sprinting, and the rigorous training is enough fun for me. Although I train with high intensity, I am fully aware of when it is good to be intense and when it is better to be more laid off. Along with this, I consider myself to be an open book waiting to be filled, as I need to learn. I also understand how helpful my coaches can be during the process of training, whether it is related to whatever sport I'm playing or even general advice for how to live life.
All of these attributes make me a valuable asset to any collegiate team regardless of division or competitiveness.
