As an athlete/student, I am very hard working and am always able to push through anything and get things done when asked. As an athlete I have trained myself to go beyond what most of my fellow athletes are willing to achieve, and I am never willing to give up. For academics I used to always have the borderline decent mindset of C's and B's but now that I have matured over the years I have started to realize that every grade matters and that I need to work hard if I want to run throughout college, because it's not just about the work you put into the sport but also, into your classes. I consider myself a very strong minded person and are always ready for a new challenge and will work hard every day until I achieve this goal. I also plan on studying Physiology, and maybe even eventually going into the medical field, all while balancing out this with running hard everyday to get faster and stronger. And with all of these experiences throughout the last 5 years it has really made me naturally take the role as the leader of the groups I belong to. I always try to strive to help the new, younger runners whether they say they've been running for more than me or they are completely new to the sport I always see it as my job to help them, make sure they've checked in, get them to the line and really help them because I see them as all my own siblings in a way. My ultimate goal isn't to look good for doing these things, and that's not why I'm adding it, I do it because I know they all have the potential just like everyone else, and myself, to become faster and stronger, and to give them that sense that they aren't the only ones going through it. I will always be there for my fellow runners and it's my goal to help them achieve their dreams because they all have potential.
