Personal Statement
I've never had an experience of running until I attended high school. Although track wasn't my main passion at the time of my freshman and sophomore year, track has become 100% reason why I started taking college seriously and also a reason why I look forward to train.
I wasn't the best athlete and I wasn't the most committed student-athlete either. However, one thing I realized as I started my third year of track was that I love my events. After realizing my passion, my commitment and my result has significantly jumped up. In my freshman and sophomore year, I was 34 feet average jumper in triple jump. Within a year, I was able to become 39-40 feet jumper and receive "2016 teammate of the year". As you can see, I'm still passionate about track and I know that I will improve everyday. I am a progressive athlete and I can promise I'm never letting anyone down.
Although I put 200% effort into track, I know my priorities and I'm able to keep my grades up to average and above with my organized time managing skill.
