Hello, my name is Nicholas Zaprianov. I am currently a junior at Lyman memorial high school. I started track in 8th grade when I qualified for states for 10 different events. I ended up going for 4x1 (1st place) and 800 (3rd place). My freshman year I qualified for 4x1 while having an injured season for indoor and outdoor. Sophomore year for indoor I qualified for the 300 (21st) 600 (17th) and 4x2 in states. Outdoor track my sophomore year I qualified for the 300h (6th) and 4x1. I also competed in the decathlon where I finished 25th out of 60 as a sophomore. This year for indoor track our 4x200 team finished 6th at class S states. I also started 55h for the first time ever this indoor year where I finished 17th in class S states. I am a hard worker on and off the track, I am not afraid of putting in work for school and my sports. I have always felt like a leader and seen people look up to me and I want to be a role model to others. My goal is to run competitively for track and keep working hard and keep breaking my pr’s while pursuing my education in which I hope to be in sports management.
