As a junior at Lyman High School, I have achieved great success in both my academic and athletic pursuits. I am proud to say that I recently won the Connecticut Class M State Championship in wrestling, and my passion for the sport has inspired me to pursue wrestling at the collegiate level. My love for wrestling began at a young age, and this has only grown stronger over the years. The sport has taught me discipline, perseverance, and the importance of teamwork. I have dedicated countless hours to training and perfecting my technique, and have competed in countless matches and tournaments. Winning the state championship was a defining moment in my life, and has only fueled my desire to continue at the next level.
As an honor roll student, I take my academics just as seriously as my athletics, and have challenged myself with a rigorous course load. I am confident that my dedication and hard work will translate seamlessly into college, where I will continue to excel both on and off the mat,
Overall, I am excited about the opportunity to continue my wrestling career in college, and I am confident that I have the skills, drive and determination to succeed.
