My journey in track and field started in 2011 at the Bermuda Inter-School Sports Competition. After two consecutive years of winning the 100m Dash without any formal training, I began to train with D.A.S.H. track club to cultivate my abilities. Following two successful years with the track club, in 2014, I moved from Bermuda to Barbados in order to gain exposure to a more competitive environment. This exposure has made me a competitive individual who strives to excel in all aspects of life. Consequently, I have become a very disciplined and balanced individual, developed very good work ethic, and learned the benefits of perseverance. As a result, the 2015 season was extremely rewarding. At the 2015 Russel E. Blunt E.C.I., in the 13-14 age group, I won the 100m and 200m with colossal new personal bests (11.16, 22.54).
