Nathan Holley '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nathan Holley and I am a cross country and track runner at Marian Catholic High School. An interesting fact about me is that prior to high school, I didn't even know what cross country was until someone suggested that I give it a try. Even though I ran varsity cross country my freshman year, I wasn't running stellar times like most freshmen that run varsity cross country especially since my slowest race my freshman year was a 20:13 for three miles. I didn't get to where I am at today by God given talent or genetics since I am the first person in my family to run cross country and track in high school. Every PR in track and cross country has been earned with hard work in practice and during the offseason. Along with cross country and track, I am in Service Club, Operation Snowball Teen Staff, I am a Dominican Ambassador(retreat leader for grades 9-11 as well as 9th gr. Orientation leader), Recruitment Corps, and the Eiditor-in-Chief of the Marian Megaphone(school newspaper). My main goal right now is to become the best runner I can be, and go to a college that can bring out my full potential as a scholar and as an athlete.
