Personal Statement
My goal is to become a high level collegiate athlete. My high potential for improvement of times is what makes me a good candidate for a team. Having been my first year running track I placed in Maryland’s 1a state track meet for the 200m and 4x400m showing continued signs of improvement in my only season. My work ethic makes me above the other recruits, as a freshman in college I currently play JuCo soccer at Potomac State College of WVU . In my first semester I have developed a great sports and school balance keeping all my grades and athletic ability in check. Though I love soccer I feel as if track is my true calling and would love to expand on my potential athletic ability. -John W.
