Hi, my name is Jason Yohanan and I am a junior at at Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland. I have an interest in computer science and I currently have a 3.52 GPA. I am ranked in track and cross country as a freshman and a sophopmore. I love being involved in the community and at school. I am president of the Jewish Student Union, a member of the National English Honor Society, Cyber Patriot, Best Buddies. In my junior, I am registered for 3 APs (AP Language and Compostion, AP World History, and AP Physics B. My goal is to be able to say I ran college track and field/cross country at the varsity level. I go hard everyday to get 1 step closer to a scholarship and finding the uniform of a collegiate team to slip on and am thankful to have come this far. I only look forward and can't wait to see what my future holds! I find this sport as my the "heart and soul" of my body. Without running, I couldn't imagine how I could survive. It summer I look forward everyday and what it brings. I love it so much, over the summer I wake up at 5AM just to go running. My junior has been tough because I got a concussion this past summer which took me out of my xc season and had knee problems to the point where I couldnt walk normally during the indoor season. During the outdoor season, I am ready and fresh and excited to run fast! Running has changed my life athletically, socially, and mentally. I hope to be able to say, "I am a collegiate track/XC athlete". I will do anything to gain that statement, and if that means pushing myself to limits I have never been to, then bring it on. Just getting this far has truly been a blessing and whatever coach I hope to end up running for, just know I will give 110% 24/7. IM READY FOR THE CHALLENGE!
