Hello! My name is Finn Johnson and I am a sophomore at Glasgow High School in Missouri. I participate in basketball and golf, but my true passion is track and field. I am a member of our sprint relay teams and also compete in the 300m hurdles, triple jump, individual sprints and pole vault. During my freshman season our team won the conference championship, the district championship, and finished second at sectionals. At the sectional meet I ran the opening leg of the 4x100 and 4x200, and also pole vaulted. Our 4x100 team qualified for the State Championships, and I was the only freshman in Class 1 to make it to State in the pole vault. My goals for my sophomore season are to make it back to State in at least three events and earn a spot on the podium in all of them. I work hard year round to become a better athlete, and will continue to do so throughout my high school career. After graduation, I hope to join a successful college track and field program with coaches and teammates that will push me everyday to be my best, while working hard in the classroom to earn a degree. THANK YOU for viewing my profile and please reach out with any questions, tips, suggestions or advice.
