Personal Statement
Cross country is my favorite sport. I joined our High School team in 6th grade, and every fall since then, I have looked forward to the start of the season. I am proud to say that I am one of the most succesful runners that our High School has produced in the last 10 to 15 years. My success has come from 3 things: First, I have worked hard, second, I have had great coaching, and third, my team mates have pushed me and supported me. I have decided that I want to run Cross County in college while I am pursuing an degree in engineering.
I perform well in the classroom as well. My class rank is 12 out of 360 student at Austin High School. I have also received recognition for my photography. The award that I am most proud of is being named to the Cross County All-State Academic Team in October of 2013.
