Personal Statement

My name is Cain Winebrenner and I just finished my junior year at Park Hill High School, and this year has by far been my best year. I have ran all three years of high school and only started as a freshman. My middle school didnt have an XC team so I didn't have the oppurtunity to participate in that. I was the number one freshman in the mile for a while until the end of the season. My sophmore season was average. I put up a 1600 meter time of 4:32 and an 800 time of 1:58. My junior year started out rough. I broke my collar bone at the start of the season causing me to miss 3 weeks of practice. By the end of the year though I had run a 4:27 mile, a 1:54 800m split, and a 50.2 400m split. I have actually never run cross country so I don't know anything about that sport but I hope to start this year maybe.
