Nikhil Makker '22 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for taking a look at my profile! My name is Nikhil Makker and I am currently a junior at West Windsor Plainsboro High School North, located in Plainsboro New Jersey. We have a very strong distance program at Nigh School North and I’m proud to say I run on this team. I run many events for my team ranging from the 4x4 to the 3200. The classroom is just as important to me as running and I take it very seriously. I aspire to do my undergrad in business/finance and move towards investment banking.

Something I’ll never forget that I learned in this program is what it really means to cross the red-line or as we Knights distance like to say-burn the ships. My incredible coach and teammates have shown me what it means to be a part of something bigger than personal goals,  and really be part of a family. I not only thrive from the hard work that I put in during practice, but the motivation from my teammates and coaches. Track and cross country have helped me build perseverance, determination, and relentlessness. I am confident this sport will continue to only make me the best version of myself, and I cannot wait to see what I can do at the college level.
