Personal Statement

When I began running when I was almost 15, I didn't know what to expect. Distance running was a big challenge for me, but like all of my biggest challenges, I accepted it and worked hard at it. I have had positive and negative experiences so far, but best of all, I've learned from my mistakes. My goals are to keep learning the sport and test my abilities every day so I can continue to improve. My coaches and friends always tell me that my passion for running is unparalleled. This passion makes the sport not only fun but addicting. I love to push myself and help others do their best. This determination extends beyond the track. I work just as hard in the classroom to maintain good grades. I have a positive attitude towards my peers, my learning, and my sport.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
