Personal Statement

I am a hard worker and will always be the first one on the field and last one off. I will push myself beyond capabilities to do my best. I am determined to perfect with each day. I am very quiet and well focused on what I want and how to get there. I am aware that with good grades comes great attitude and athletic performances.  You know when your a little kid and you want to be an astronaut or a firefighter well when I was young I pictured of being the face of the United States leading our United States Men's team to the gold, finishing first in the Men’s hurdles just I never give up on my dream I am still working for it, I really don’t care if I don’t make it because I know I have worked my but off to be the best I can be and that right there is called passion, nobody told me to go outside and run I wanted to run, I love running just when I am out on that track I just feel so free like more free then I am anywhere even in my own household.  I call that track home.  Just being on that track always brings a smile to my face because I am knowing that I am doing something that I love so much.  Every time I close my eyes I picture of being on that track jumping over that last hurdle winning the race, being the person everyone cheers for.  But no there is always that one person that always says they are better, well you may be better but when it comes to working your butt off and never giving up and not crying about doing a workout or extras, well then I always win.  You may be able to three step but I am able to be one step ahead of you to win the race.  I may be the shortest hurdler but I have the most passion for hurdles then anyone.  A hurdle is not something you jump over to keep moving forward it is another obstacle to jump over like in life every second of your day there is an obstacle to get pass, well hurdles are mine and I am not afraid to go through those obstacles.  Oh well if I hit one, did I cry about it no, did I improve yes.  Hitting that hurdle will make me more aggressive going over that hurdle because if that hurdle wants to hit me go ahead because I am not stopping, nothing will stop me to go pass all those hurdles and win.  I want those hurdles everywhere because I will show that I am not scared.  Everyone cries about how they can not jump over a hurdle, well look at me I am the shortest hurdler at my school and do you see me slowing down no, all you see is a guy running like those hurdles are nothing.  I tell my coach every time that I am not sore but really I am so sore.  I do not want to show my pain because it shows my weakness, I want to show I am strong and aggressive that I will not stop for anything to win.  Every time before a race I look up from my blocks and smile at those hurdles and say good luck slowing me down.  Those hurdles will never slow me down for anything because I have the mind-set to say your not stopping me.  I am going to attack that hurdle like it killed someone I loved.  I am not going to chicken out I am going to go full force into that hurdle and say yeah I am not scared of you so good job trying but you will not stop me for all means.  Just I want those hurdles in front of me now because I’ll jump it I will not run around it like everyone else does.  People always say I am to short to go over those hurdles but I prove them wrong every race because I always jump over those hurdles like they are nothing.  Every hurdle I jump is me getting closer and closer to my childhood dream.  I love hurdling it is just my life and one day I would love to teach others about hurdling but before that I want to make a name for myself, in hurdles.  I want to be the shortest hurdler ever to win the Olympics, actually just win the Olympics for all means.  Every second in a race, every hurdle, every spike, is another reason why I love track and hurdling.  This pride, this passion, this fire, this dream, this, this…..this happiness inside me for hurdling is not comparable to anything I’ve ever had before.  This dream is all I have on me, this is all I have ever worked for in my life.  There is nobody on this earth that can beat my drive, my passion, my fire inside me.  If you think you can stop me, well just wait because you though so wrong.  I really do not care if your better, I have the heart to win and I will beat you no matter what.  I will leave everything I have on that track I do not care if it hurts, screw the pain I am winning this race, every race I have I am wining so good luck.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
