Personal Statement

My dream is to play at a college that will give me a great opportunity to be successful in the classroom first and track second.  

As a thrower, I like to watch film and I look forward to critiquing my game and getting better.  I am relentless working in the weight room.  I have been a three sport athlete all through high school and middle school. Right now I do football, winter track and spring track. I am a high jumper - my PR is 5'10", a discus thrower - my PR is 125' and I do some sprint races and sometimes long jump. In the end of my high school athletic career I will achieve nine varsity letters.

Off the field I am an honor student and co-president of the Student Athlete Advisory Council.  I'm also part of the band and I do activities at my church which includes singing in the choir.  

I look forward to the process of talking to coaches and whoever I commit to can be sure I will give 100% as a track athlete and a student.
