Personal Statement
I started running a week before my sophomore year of high school started. I was a baseball player at the time. I fell in love with cross country, running a then-personal best 18:57 by the end of that fall. Remembering goals I set for cross country, I dropped baseball for track and am truly glad that I did. Running has helped me in many ways and I could not be more grateful for my finding of this sport.
My dreams for the remainder of High School and through college are achieving higher marks on my reports, being accepted into my college of choice, and running cross-country for the college of my choice.
My life goals are to go to my college of choice, raising a good family, holding a good job, and becoming the best man I can be.
