My name is Cole Shea and I am currently a 16 year old junior at Mount Juliet High School in Tennessee. I've been running track since the 6th grade and have competed in and been able to easily adapt and place in many different events depending on the current needs of my team.
My most memorable moments in track so far have been being able to compete at the 2017 New Balance Indoor Nationals and winning the 2017 TSSAA State Track and Field Championships. Also, even though this was only my second season competing in pole vault, I placed 1st at Districts, 1st at Sub-Sections, and 2nd at Sections with a season and personal record of 14'6". My goal is to vault 15' during summer track and 16'+ my senior season.
In addition to athletics I also do very well academically. Throughout High School I have been enrolled in several Honors and AP Courses, have a high GPA, and have scored a 29 on the ACT.
My goal is to attend a college where I can compete in Track & Field while pursuing a major in Aerospace Engineering. I want to pursue a career in this field because to me, space is fascinating. We don't know that much about space, and I’d like to be a part of advancing technology that makes future discoveries possible.
