Eli Wenger '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a track and field athlete and cross country runner, but I am hoping to focus on track and field in College. I am a hardworking athlete and I like to challenge myself to grow and try new things. I have been participating in track and field since elementary school, and have placed well in a variety of events including the, 100m, 200m, 400m, 1600m, long jump, 100m and 300m hurdles, and pole vault. Moving forward, I plan to focus on pole-vault and possibly the 400m. My first priority in college is to get a good education, and graduate with a degree in Engineering that I can use to make a positive impact on our world. With many pressing issues for our future, like climate change and pollution, I believe that it is up to my generation to find new creative solutions to our world's problems in a growing era of technology. I have been taking all honors classes since 1st grade, and I am currently taking IB classes in Math, Computer Science, English, and Biology, and am 2 years ahead of my grade level in mathematics.
