Kyler Kamaka '25 Recruiting Profile

Aloha Coaches,

Originally, my primary sport was basketball. My interest in volleyball steamed from watching my friends play in middle school. My passion for volleyball started to brew my freshmen year, with no experience under my belt, found the courage to tryout for my high school team. Within my freshmen year of playing volleyball I was appointed to role of team captain and was given the honor of being selected to play on the Varsity team. To further challenge myself I’ve join travel club, and volunteer my time to help coach our school’s intermediate and elementary teams.

My primary position is a middle blocker, although I’ve also been a starting setter during my JV season, and I’ve also played as an opposite hitter. I’m very open to in learning different roles on the court and enjoy hearing my coaches feedback. I feel that collegiate ball will help me get to the next level.

School holds a high value in my life as it to is the key in opening up many doors to my future. I take full accountability to ensure I balance my school work and volleyball.
