Colin McClintic '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a very driven person and I aspire to play volleyball my entire life. My sophomore year, the first year that I played varsity volleyball, my coach gave me the most improved player award and always told me I was the most coachable player on the team. I also plan to improve my game a lot as time goes on. I am constantly looking for ways to get better year round, whether that be playing club during the fall or playing beach volleyball in downtown Chicago. I am an all honors student with all A's and B's and I will never have to worry about grades or ineligibility. Some other attributes that I bring to the table is my blocking ability. My height helps a lot with blocking, but I also have great timing and can read a hitter. I also have developed the skill of a hard cross hit that is almost impossible to block. I feel I can provide great defense at the net, as well as a hitting presence on any team.
