Bruno Santana '16 Recruiting Profile

I am Bruno Santana, I was born in Brazil in a small city called Arinos. When I was 13 years old my dad Ronan came to US. to do his PHd and he brought me with him. My life at that moment changed incredibly, meeting great people, descovering a new culture, and learning a new language. Since I was a child I use to watch the problems in my city,in my country on the news. I found what i wanted to do in my life: grow up, study and change the ways Brazil work and think for better. Coming to US made my dream to become closer and closer to be real with a better education. Studying in a college here would create a huge step towards it. Agronomy is a field that always facinated me because of its technology, the huge plantations of crops, and also economics each is fudamental. I always liked to practice sports as volleyball, soccer, and swimming. I am confident person, like to talk, meeting people, learn, always up for advices, help my teamates in what i can if i dont I find somebody that can, I try my best to get my team up and dont let them down. My english doesn't help a lot but I do my best. My position is libero, or any position on defense. I always played on defense and not playing offense so well but I can learn to play on the front row too. I hope you enjoyed knowing a little about me.
